3 · Agreement terms

Read every part of the agreement.

Initial veterinary examination

The seller warrants that the kitten is in good health to the best of the seller’s knowledge. The buyer may have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours after receiving the kitten. If the veterinarian certifies that the kitten has a health defect and the seller is notified within 24 hours after the examination, the buyer may return the kitten in the same condition for a full refund. The seller is not responsible for the cost of veterinary examinations or medical treatment.

Common feline infections

The seller is not responsible for common feline infections beyond the 72-hour health guarantee.

FeLV and FIV

The seller guarantees that the kitten does not have feline leukemia virus (FeLV) or feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) at the time of pickup, delivery, or shipment.

Two-year hereditary and congenital guarantee

If, within two years from the kitten’s date of birth, a hereditary or congenital defect causes the kitten’s death, the seller will provide a replacement pet-quality Ragdoll. The cause must be confirmed beyond a reasonable doubt by a written necropsy report from a licensed, board-certified veterinary pathologist, and that report must be provided to the seller.

Vaccination conditions

The seller does not vaccinate against FeLV and is not responsible for consequences if the buyer chooses that vaccine. An FIP vaccine voids all guarantees. Giving multiple vaccines at one time voids all guarantees. The kitten has received three vaccinations and must not receive a fourth vaccination during the first year; giving a fourth vaccination during that year voids the two-year warranty.

Indoor home and outdoor safety

The buyer agrees that the cat will never be allowed outdoors unattended or without suitable control. Any outdoor enclosure must be secure and safe, with protection from the elements, predators, and other cats.

No declawing

The buyer agrees that the cat will never be declawed.

TICA registration papers

Registration papers will be provided after they are received from The International Cat Association (TICA).

Governing law

This agreement is governed by Georgia law. Transporting the kitten outside Georgia or the United States is solely for the buyer’s convenience and does not give another state or country authority over this agreement.

Kitten Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to place a kitten Under Contract. The deposit amount is the same whether the buyer pays online through PayPal, by check, or by money order.

Signing this agreement does not reserve the kitten. The kitten remains available to other prospective families until Redi Freddie’s Ragdolls receives and confirms the deposit. A check or money order must be received and deposited within four business days after this agreement is signed; a postmark does not reserve the kitten.

Because we may turn away other interested families once a kitten is Under Contract, the deposit is non-refundable if the buyer changes their mind or is otherwise unable to complete the purchase.

If, for any reason, Redi Freddie’s Ragdolls is unable to complete the placement of the kitten with you, including an unexpected health concern with the kitten, your deposit will be refunded in full or, if you prefer, transferred to another available kitten.

Our goal is to make the process fair and clear for everyone while protecting the time and care involved in finding the right home for each kitten.

Acceptance. By signing, the buyer confirms that they have read, fully understand, and accept every clause of this agreement.

The kitten remains available to other prospective families and will be placed Under Contract only after Redi Freddie’s Ragdolls receives and confirms the full $400 deposit.

You may withdraw consent before submitting by leaving this form unsigned and contacting Beth; no fee applies. After submission, use your private receipt page to view, save, or print the completed record. You need a current web browser and PDF viewer, plus access to a printer or storage if you want a paper or electronic copy.
